The Three Musketeers - A Review
Oct. 15th, 2011 11:48 pm
Yesterday, 14th October 2011 at 8 pm, I saw The Three Musketeers in 3D!
As always, this isn't a proper review, but only a collage of impressions, excitements and fangirling moments! XD
What have I to say about this movie? That it was extraordinary?
Yes, it was!!!!!
OMG, this was my real first 3D, since the other 4 I saw (Alice In Wonderland, Tangled, Tron and POTC4) were partially tridimensional!
In this movie, every single part of it was in amazing 3D!!!!!! It was simply spectacular! :D
The plot was interesting and the actors played their parts in wonderful ways!
As you know, in this film there were 2 of my favourite actors: Matthew Macfadyen, the witty Darcy in Pride and Prejudice (2005), and my love, Orlando Bloom!
I start with Orli! :)
This time Mr. Bloom plays one of the villains, Buckingham, the Duke! He was fantastic in this role. Really! He did a fantastic job in playing this character, infact it is totally different from the other one that we usually have seen! I simply fell in love with this charismatic, smart and unforgettable bad man!
Instead Matthew plays one of the Musketeers, Athos. He is perfect for this role and you can't take your eyes off screen when he's on scene!
The other actors were very good too, so I compliment with Milla Jovovich for her brilliant role, Luke Evans and Ray Stevenson for their Musketeer interpretations, Christoph Waltz for its smart Richelieu, Mads Mikkelesen for its main villain performance!
The other minor characters were nice played too and the role of D'Artagnan, given to the young Logan Lerman, was quite good. (for my mother he ruined the movie! XD)
Anyway, at this you have to add the 3D miracles - just imagine Orlando popping out of the screen (I was dead for the enitre movie! XD) - the steampunk scenes and the genius of the director that mixed amazing action fights with a very particular plot!
So..... go to see it! :)
P.S. I haven't talked about the plot for not spoilering a lot..... but..... you'll love the last Orlando scene! *___*
My vote: 10/10
