Just a little update

Hi, friends! I'm still alive!
I know, I haven't posted anything since January and you must all be very worried for me (haha, maybe no), so I decided to write a little update.
I was going to write about my life in the past months, how I was hit by a sort of depressive state and how I rose from it in March, but I'll spare you all the details and just say to you that now I'm feeling much better, that I've posted even icons in some communities and that I'm actually working on two sets of 20in20s. Maybe you'll see icons soon on my blog again!
Btw, the real reason I'm writing here it's about all the fuss for the new terms and condiditions of this site. At first I was really concerned about them, but then I realized that almost all the other socials and blogs have terms like those, so I *really* don't understand if I have to be worried. Anyway, other users here are backing up to dreamwitdh and most of them will use their blog for talking about private life, since DW is like a ghost town and there aren't icon communities. So, why I should move there? When I talk of my private life, I never talk about politics or give very close informations like credit card numbers or whatever, so what the Russians can use against me? My pitiful life? Well, if the icons and fanfics are staying here (these are the only elements which I'm concerned), I won't back-up there. Anyway, I'd like to hear from you some suggestions and what you think of this, and maybe I can change idea! So, please, tell me, what are the main reasons you are backing up? Please, I'll be more than grateful to hear your thoughts on this mess.

Hey :) I'm glad you're doing much better now. If you are feeling to share your story about depression and how you've managed to overcome it, please, don't hesitate. I would love to be inspired and motivated by you as I'm also experiencing not the best time of my life.
In regard to the terms and conditions of lj, unfortunately, I'm not aware of the whole situation. But what do you mean by the russians? Could someone enlighten me here? ^^

Aww, thank you so much for your nice comment! Don't worry about commenting, I don't talk too much either so I can totally understand you! And don't worry about your English, it seems very good to me: it's better than mine for sure! ;)

There isn't very much to tell about my depression: I just lived a bad moment, where everything semed wrong to me and where I felt the whole world was against me; moreover I had a lack of creativity and a general apathy. I really don't know how I managed to overcome it: springtime and good days helped me a lot and I forced myself to think positive and to care about the things I love. Well, I'm not totally recovered, from time in time I have breakdowns, but I'm better for sure. If you want to talk about you, you can pm me: if it can help you, I will be very happy to be in touch with you! ♥

Basically LJ was bought by Russia and now they changed the terms os service. I've read them and they don't seem very different from other socials, so I really don't know why people are making a big deal of this. By the way, I think they changed things in order to watch more Russian people talking about politics, so I don't know why this should affect the other ones or the icon community. At least this is my thought about this whole situation.

I'm so sorry it took me forever to reply :) Thank you for your warm and friendly reply. You are such a kind-hearted and caring person. I'd love to be friends with you ^.^ Btw I'm feeling much better now. I've taken your advice and tried to be more positive about myself and life in general.

I'm pretty sure that a change in ownership won't affect existing TOS and they will remain the same. And yes I totally agree with you. I've read that Russia recently passed laws which will give the government more control over the internet and what Russians will be able to see online, so they basically have an internet censorship aka "a great firewall" like in China. So all that may affect only Russians.
